TF Loves SF!

We love our city so when our friends at Uber SF (you know, the ones with the on-demand car service that makes you feel like a rockstar?) approached us to share some exciting San Francisco news with our stylish TF community, we jumped at the opportunity!
All across the globe this Thursday, the world’s most fashionable guys and gals will converge in their respective cities to celebrate Fashion’s Night Out. The event originally devised by Vogue Editor Anna Wintour to support the fashion industry through a tough economy has blossomed into one of the most anticipated fashion events of the year!
So now for the announcement - Uber, along with 7x7 Magazine and Saks Fifth Avenue have partnered to make San Francisco’s Fashion’s Night Out a fashion dream-come-true! Only in this story, your horse and carriage is a little sleeker and a lot faster! If you Uber to the event on Thursday, your car will drop you off in front of Saks where someone will be waiting to gift you a super chic clutch for free! A pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
We got our hands on the super stylin’ bag (metallic and snakeskin, hello!) and we couldn’t resist taking it out for a pre-FNO spin. I asked five TF team members to style looks using the clutch and items from our White Glove Service closet for a ‘What I Would Wear to FNOSF’ look. Read on to check out our picks and the staffers’ own words on why they chose the items they did!

Carrie, User Research/WGS Intern
I chose this Lanvin dress for its classic silhouette and fun ruffle detail around the neck and wrists. I balanced the heavy knit of the dress with the delicate Chanel ‘glass’ slippers for a polished-with-a-twist look that pops with the silver clutch.

Leslie, Project Manager - White Glove Service
My favorite silk finish is brushed - it lacks the caustic brightness of satin and feels amazing. I went for the Jimmy Choo’s to match the silver hardware to the Saks clutch!

Julio, White Glove Service Intern
FNO is all about celebrating the business of fashion and supporting our favorite designers. These Kai Aakmann harem pants are comfortable, sleek, and instantly pop when paired with tailored pieces.

Yours truly - Anika, Brand Marketing and Social Media Intern
It should come as no surprise to anyone who knows me that I chose an all-black look. It’s a hard habit to break! But in an effort to make this look less monotone (trending for fall!)/monotonous I played with the textures of the sheer ribbed-knit high-low T by Alexander Wang dress, the Tahari moto jacket with leather trim and the See by Chloe ankle booties that give the look a little lift. All the better to display the shiny clutch with my dears!
So ink these Thursday night plans into your calendars and start planning your look! We’ll be there in our TF-wear and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
